AVARUNES Terms of Service
Version 2026-10-20 · Last updated 20 October 2026
This English version is a translation provided for convenience. If it differs from the Thai version, the Thai version applies.
These Terms of Service (the "Terms") are an agreement between you (the "player" or "you") and the operator of the game AVARUNES ("we" or the "operator") on the use of the game AVARUNES, its website, servers, Item Mall, payment system and any other related services (together, the "Service").
These Terms apply together with the following documents, which form part of these Terms:
- Top-up and Payment Policy
- Privacy Policy
- Rules and Code of Conduct
If the texts of these documents conflict, the text of the document that is more specific to the matter applies. For example, for payments the Top-up and Payment Policy applies.
1. Accepting These Terms
- You must read and accept these Terms and all the documents above by ticking the acceptance box every time you sign up for an account, log in, or play as a Guest.
- Ticking to accept has the same effect as signing to accept the version of the Terms shown at that time. The system records the version you accepted and the time you accepted it with your account.
- If you do not accept any part of these Terms, please stop using the Service. You cannot enter the game without ticking to accept.
2. Who May Use the Service and Parental Consent
- The Service is open to the general public. Users must have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
- Anyone under 20 years of age (a minor under Thai law) must have the consent of their parents or legal guardian before signing up for an account and before using the Service.
- A minor must have the consent of a parent or guardian every time before paying real money. Any payment made from a minor's account is deemed to have the parent's or guardian's consent, and the parent or guardian is responsible for the minor's use of the Service.
- Anyone under 10 years of age should play only under the supervision of a parent or guardian.
- Anyone who has received a permanent ban has no right to sign up for a new account to get around the penalty.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Types of Account
- Username and password account — the username is 3–20 characters long and may use only A–Z a–z 0–9 and _. The password is at least 8 characters long.
- Google account — log in with your Google account.
- Guest account — play right away without signing up (see section 3.3).
3.2 Account Security
- You must keep your password and the devices you use to log in private, and must not use the same password as for other services.
- Everything done through your account is treated as done by you, unless it can be proven that it was caused by a fault in our systems.
- If you suspect that someone else has used your account, change your password and tell us immediately.
- Our staff will never ask for your password, verification code or card details, through any channel.
- An account is personal to its owner. You may not sell, rent out, trade, transfer, lend or share your account with anyone else, whether for something in return or not. Doing so may result in a permanent ban, and we are not responsible for any loss arising from buying or selling accounts.
- Before helping with an account matter, we may ask for information to confirm that you own the account (such as the UID, the time the account was created, character names, or payment transaction numbers).
3.3 Guest Accounts
- A Guest account is tied to the browser you play on through a cookie. If you clear your browser data, use private (incognito) mode, switch browsers or switch devices, you may never be able to get back into the same account.
- We cannot recover a lost Guest account in any case.
- A Guest account cannot buy anything with real money, and some features may be limited for Guests.
- You can turn a Guest account into a permanent account by setting a username and password or by linking a Google account. All the characters and items in the account will stay as they are.
3.4 Characters
- Each account can have as many characters as the number of character slots the game provides.
- Character names must not be vulgar, must not impersonate staff or any other person, and must not infringe anyone else's rights. We may change inappropriate names without prior notice.
- Deleted characters may not be recoverable.
4. Virtual Items and Currencies
4.1 Definition
"Virtual items" means anything that exists in the game, including but not limited to Star Gems (◆), Bonus Gems (◇), Star Coins (✧), Gacha Tickets, Fashion Shards, items, equipment, Jewels, fashion outfits, pets, VIP levels, Monthly Cards, Passes, special privileges and character progress.
4.2 A License to Use, Not Ownership
- All virtual items are owned by the operator. The player receives only a limited license to use them: it is valid only in the game, is non-exclusive, cannot be transferred to anyone outside the game, and can be revoked under these Terms.
- Virtual items are not the player's property and cannot be passed on as an inheritance.
4.3 No Monetary Value
- Virtual items have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, real goods, digital assets or anything else outside the game, in any case.
- Virtual items are not deposits, electronic money, securities or digital assets under the law, and they earn no interest.
- The price paid in real money for Star Gems does not represent the value of the virtual items received.
4.4 Star Gems and Purchased Items Cannot Be Transferred to Other Players
- Star Gems (◆) and Bonus Gems (◇) are bound to the account that bought or received them. They can be used only by that account's characters, and only on content and services that we sell inside AVARUNES.
- Star Gems cannot be transferred, gifted, sent by mail, traded, sold or exchanged with another player through any feature of the game, including the World Market and auctions.
- Items bought in the Item Mall, packs bought with real money, VIP gifts and cumulative top-up rewards are bound to the character or account that received them. They cannot be traded, sent by mail, stored for another character or listed on the World Market.
- No feature of the game withdraws, redeems or converts Star Gems or any virtual item back into real money.
4.5 Changes to Virtual Items
We may change the properties, stats, rates of obtaining, prices or rarity of virtual items, or discontinue some kinds of virtual items, for game balance, to fix errors, or to improve the Service, without monetary compensation.
4.6 Items Obtained Improperly
Virtual items obtained through system errors, cheating, fraud, cancelled payments, or actions that breach these Terms may be taken back or deleted at any time, even if they have already been used or traded on.
5. Item Mall and Gacha
- The in-game Item Mall sells virtual items for Star Gems or in-game currency. Prices and the list of products may change at any time.
- Some products have a purchase limit per account or per period, or are sold only during a set period.
- The gacha shows the rate of obtaining each item in the game. The result of each draw is independent of every other draw, and you cannot ask for it to be exchanged or returned.
- Purchases in the Item Mall and gacha draws made with Star Gems count as completed uses of virtual items and cannot be cancelled or refunded.
- Purchases of Star Gems and of products paid for with real money are governed by the Top-up and Payment Policy.
6. World Market and Trading Between Players
- The World Market is a system that lets players trade permitted items with each other for Star Coins (✧), which are earned only by playing, within the game only. Star Gems are not bought, sold or exchanged on the World Market (the Star Gem ⇄ Star Coin exchange was closed for good on 20 October 2026, and every open order was returned to its owner). Only items obtained by playing that are not bound to a character can be listed; items from the Item Mall or real-money packs cannot.
- Prices in the World Market are set by the players themselves. We do not guarantee prices, liquidity, or that orders will be matched.
- Trades in the World Market carry the fees shown in the game. Fees are taken out of the game and are not refunded.
- Orders left open longer than the period set by the game are cancelled, and the items or currency held for them are returned according to the in-game rules.
- A trade that has been matched is final and cannot be cancelled or refunded, even if the wrong price or quantity was entered.
- Auctions run by the staff take bids in Star Coins only and follow the rules announced for each auction.
- Suspension of World Market use: an account with a confirmed refund request or chargeback is barred from trading in the World Market for 1 year (see the Top-up and Payment Policy). We may also suspend World Market use for accounts that break the rules, for example by manipulating prices, laundering improperly obtained items, or using the market to trade for real money outside the game.
- One-to-one trades and sending items by mail can carry only Star Coins and items that are not bound to a character, according to the in-game rules (Star Gems and items bought in the Item Mall cannot, see section 4.4). Players must check the items themselves before confirming. We do not return items sent or traded by mistake because of a player's own error.
- Buying or selling virtual items or accounts for real money, goods or assets outside the game — real-money trading (RMT) — is prohibited, through any channel.
7. Prohibited Conduct
In addition to the Rules and Code of Conduct, you must not:
- Use, create, distribute or advertise cheat programs, bots, scripts, macros, play-assist programs, client-modification programs, or any tool that gives an advantage beyond normal play or plays for you automatically (except the auto-play feature built into the game).
- Exploit game errors (bugs), loopholes or abnormal behavior instead of reporting them to us.
- Hack our systems, test for vulnerabilities without permission, intercept, modify or forge data between the game and the server, attack the Service to bring it down, or send an abnormally large number of requests.
- Buy, sell, trade or rent out accounts, virtual items, or play-for-you services (leveling services) for real money or for anything in return outside the game.
- Use multiple accounts to take advantage of the game's systems, for example to farm rewards, to transfer items to get around restrictions, or to manipulate prices in the World Market.
- Deceive or defraud anyone, or impersonate the staff, the operator or any other person.
- Harass, threaten, verbally abuse, demean or show hatred toward others, or publish other people's personal data.
- Publish pornographic, obscene, violent or illegal content, or content that infringes the intellectual property of others.
- Spam, advertise, or draw people to outside services without permission.
- Use the Service for any purpose that is illegal under Thai law or any other applicable law.
- Request a refund or make a chargeback in bad faith.
- Help, support or knowingly allow others to do any of the above.
8. Penalties and Appeals
8.1 Penalties
When we find a breach of these Terms, or have reasonable grounds to suspect one, we may take one or more of the following actions at the same time, depending on how serious it is and on the account's history, without prior notice:
- Warning
- Disabling chat, temporarily or permanently
- Restricting the use of some systems, such as the World Market, trading, mail or guilds
- Taking back, deleting or reducing virtual items, currencies, levels or progress connected with the breach
- Temporary account suspension
- Permanent ban, including of other accounts connected with the person who broke the rules
- Reporting to the police or taking legal action, where the act is an offense under the law
8.2 What a Penalty Means
- A suspended account, whether suspended temporarily or permanently, receives no refund and no compensation for virtual items, Monthly Cards, Passes or any privileges that could not be used while it was suspended.
- Trying to get around a penalty, for example by signing up for a new account, may lead to a heavier penalty.
8.3 Appeals
- If you believe you were penalized wrongly, you can send an appeal to [email protected] within 30 days of the date of the penalty, with your account UID, character name and an explanation.
- We will review it and tell you the result within a reasonable time. Our decision is final as far as the provision of the Service is concerned. This does not take away your rights under the law.
- If we find that the penalty was wrong, we will cancel it and return the virtual items that were taken, as appropriate.
9. Changes to the Service and Maintenance
- We may update the game; add, change or remove content, systems, maps, events or products; and rebalance the game at any time.
- We may close the Service temporarily for maintenance, updates or to fix problems. We will try to announce this in advance when we can. Emergency maintenance may happen without prior notice.
- We do not pay monetary compensation for periods of maintenance, server outages or content that has changed, but we may give virtual items as compensation as we see fit.
- Time-limited events may be extended, shortened or cancelled as needed.
10. Closing Accounts and Ending the Service
10.1 Closing by the Player
- You may stop using the Service at any time, and may ask for your account to be deleted through the channels in the Privacy Policy.
- When an account is deleted, all its characters, virtual items and currencies are gone permanently, cannot be recovered, and are not refunded.
10.2 Closing by the Operator
- We may close accounts that breach these Terms, under section 8.
- We may delete accounts that have not been used for a long continuous period. We will announce the criteria and the time frame in the game in advance.
10.3 Ending the Whole Service
- If we are going to end the game service entirely, we will announce it in the game at least 30 days in advance.
- From the date of the announcement, we will stop selling Star Gems and products paid for with real money.
- When the Service ends, all licenses to use virtual items end, with no refund or compensation, unless the applicable law requires otherwise.
11. Intellectual Property
- The images, artwork, characters, sounds, music, names, logos, text, code, maps and all other content in the Service belong to the operator or its licensors and are protected by law.
- You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, distribute, sell or commercially use our content without written permission.
- You may share screenshots, clips or live streams of your play, as long as you do not edit them to mislead, do not present them as official works, and do not harm us.
- For the chat messages, character names and content you submit in the game, you allow us to use, store, display and delete them, to the extent needed to provide the Service and look after the community.
12. No Warranties
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We do our best to make the game work well, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be free of errors or interruptions, safe from viruses or every kind of attack, or that no data will ever be lost.
- We do not guarantee that the Service will suit your particular purpose, or that it will work with every device, browser or internet connection.
13. Limitation of Liability
- To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, opportunities or data, arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Service.
- We are not liable for damage caused by your devices or internet connection, the actions of other players or third parties, your disclosure of your password, or force majeure (events beyond our control).
- To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you, for any reason, will not exceed the amount you actually paid us in the 3 months before the event that caused the damage.
- This limitation does not apply to liability that the law does not allow to be limited or excluded, such as damage caused by our intentional acts or gross negligence.
14. Indemnity
You agree to compensate the operator for damages, costs and reasonable lawyers' fees if they arise from your breach of these Terms or of the law, or from your infringement of the rights of others.
15. Governing Law and Disputes
- These Terms are governed by and interpreted under the laws of the Kingdom of Thailand.
- If there is a dispute, please contact us first. We will try in good faith to resolve it with you within a reasonable time.
- If we cannot reach an agreement, the dispute will be decided by a Thai court that has jurisdiction.
16. Changes to These Terms
- We may change these Terms and the related documents. Every version is marked with a version number and the date it was last updated.
- When there is a new version, the game shows the text of the new version, and you must tick to accept it before you can keep playing.
- If you do not accept the new version, you cannot keep playing, but you can still contact us about your account and your personal data.
17. General
- If any provision of these Terms cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions stay in force.
- If we do not use a right under these Terms on any occasion, that does not mean we give up that right.
- You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms to anyone else. We may transfer the provision of the Service to someone else, and will let you know if we do.
- These Terms are written in Thai. If there is a translation into another language, the Thai version prevails.
18. Contact Us
- Email: [email protected]
- In game: contact the staff (GM)
When you contact us, please give your account UID (shown on the account page), your character name and the details of the problem. Never send your password or card details to anyone.
